Septic Searches for Maricopa County
On November 1, 2009 the Onsite Wastewater Program implemented fees for septic system records searches (septic searches) that were authorized by the Maricopa County Environmental Health Code. Commercial septic searches will be charged $30 which must be paid prior to the release of records. Non-commercial septic search requests will be charged a fee of $0.50 per page. There will be no charge if no records are found. Customers are required to request a septic search prior to submitting a request for a septic system alteration, abandonment, minor plan review, or transfer.
